Ixa is the stunning litter brother
of "Marty", Ch Mirribandi Only Dreaming CD JDX
ADX HIC1. He
is from our "O" litter out of "GEM", Ch Lumineux Black Diamond, by "ULRICK", Ch Fakaiser's Ulrick d'Unforgettable
(Imp Norway).
Although not as
extensively campaigned as his litter sister, Ixa has had some lovely wins in
the show rings - at 9 months of age he was awarded RES BEST GROENENDAEL DOG,
RUNNER UP BEST OF BREED and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW at Queensland's inaugural
Specialty Open show.
Ixa has been awarded
numerous Class In Group awards in the All Breeds rings.
Ixa is progressing
steadily through the classes at obedience.
Ixa passed his first
HERDING INSTINCT TEST with flying colours in November 2001, and easily obtained
his second pass in QLD in November 2002. This made him the SECOND dog of ANY
breed to be granted the title of HERDING INSTINCT TEST by the CCCQ. His half
sister, Kashmyr, being the FIRST in QLD.

Very good head nicely expressive. Very good skull, excellent stop and muzzle.
Very good eye. Excellent ears, very well carried, good parallelism. Very well
built body. Excellent topline, correct croup. Very good chest needs maturing.
Chest a bit narrow at the front. Excellent parallel stance. Shoulders straight,
good hind angulation, very good feet. Narrow at the back, narrow at the front
when he moves. Excellent movement. Excellent hind drive. EXCELLENT".

bite, very nice head and expression, good shape eye but could be darker, nose
slightly roman, good chiselling, and neck a little short, short steep upper
arm, accentuated withers, medium back, sloping croup, good underline and good
rear angulation. Good movement but slightly turned out front feet, enough bone.

excellent length of leg, short back, good croup. ExcellenT length of neck.
Tends to stand a little east west in front, good bone, standing straight in
rear. Ears - excellent size and shape and set. Complete scissor bite. Trifle
narrow in chest, but good depth. Little thin. Moderate front, good rear
angulations. Tail to hock but a little bend in tail. Beautiful proud carriage
and eyes lovely shape and set, could be a little darker. Good planes, little
Roman nosed. Good chiselling, lovely Belgian expression. Easy side gait, moving
a little hocky in rear, loose in front. Pretty boy. Excellent breed type.
