The garden

We are now retired and there are not enough hours in the day for us. There is always something to do indoors, or out in the 1/2 an acre of garden. We started with a tree-less block of land and now have more than 200 trees and shrubs dotted around, like this one (the Brunsfelsia on the left) which is a favourite of ours - just click on it to see a larger image) and this dainty tree frog is usually somewhere around in the garden. We are very interested in the birds and have regular feeding sessions for a lot of lorikeets, magpies, butcher birds, noisy miners, and we also have visits from sulphur crested cockatoos and the pink and grey galahs.

We have separate web pages with more images from our garden Click here
